Southern Tyrol – A Cross-Country Skier’s Paradise
Gliding across the dry powder in a snow-blanketed winter landscape. Harmonious movements, buttressed with regular strokes of the sky-sticks and well-measured, steady breathing. Cross-country skiing is not only one of the healthiest, but also one of the funniest ways of enjoying winter in Southern Tyrol . Heart and blood-circulation are exercised and many sets of muscles are put to use more than in the practice of most other winter sports. Whether classical or skating, professional or casual hobby sportsman, it makes no difference. Southern Tyrol offers perfect conditions for cross-country skiers. Famous competition venues such as Antholz, Toblach or Ridnaun, but also romantic valleys and scenic cross-country runs. The place to be.
